light snow --
the bird's tracks turn
toward spring

 the rain ceased 

wayward wind through the trees

 makes it fall again

 

out of respect

the snowman's heart

kept in deep freeze

seeking shade

snow clings to my doorstep--

barely spring

 

loose ice clogs the river,

snow drifts crowds the bridge --
